VerseD: Galatians 6:7

Do not be deceived: God is not mocked, for whatever one sows, that will he also reap.
Galatians 6:7, ESV

Do not claim to be a Christian and then boast about your worldly lifestyle. Live worldly, receive judgment.

Be humble, receive grace and forgiveness.

VerseD: John 10:11

I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
John 10:11, ESV

Jesus offered Himself to rescue us from condemnation for sin.

Likewise, we should be willing to lay down our lives to share the Gospel, love on others, and bring many to faith in Christ.

VerseD: Colossians 3:17

And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.
Colossians 3:17, ESV

Whether work, school, chores, driving, teaching, preaching, vacationing, relaxing, reading, writing, giving or following directions, sitting quietly, running a marathon, going to the hospital (for good or ill), or whatever

Give God the glory and thank Him for everything.

John 13:34

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.
John 13:34, ESV

Just as Jesus spoke truth to draw us nearer to Him and offered His life as a sacrifice for others, we must do the same. We may not die for our sacrifice, but we must look at others as more important than ourselves.

VerseD: 1 Thessalonians 5:15

See that no one repays anyone evil for evil, but always seek to do good to one another and to everyone.
1 Thessalonians 5:15, ESV

Vengeance belongs to the Lord. Yet, what was His example? To take our evil upon His own shoulders to bring us forgiveness.

How much more should we strive to do good for others, knowing this fact?

VerseD: James 5:16

Therefore, confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed. The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much.
James 5:16, NASB

We not only share our physical needs, but we share our sins with each other: to have accountability, to get encouragement through the struggle, and to find forgiveness.

Pray for each other.

VerseD: James 1:19

This you know, my beloved brethren. But everyone must be quick to hear, slow to speak and slow to anger;
James 1:19, NASB

As some say, “Listen twice, speak once.” Put another way, be patient. Maybe walk a mile in their shoes. As Jesus did, foregoing anger against those who revile Him to offer forgiveness.
