Our sovereign God knows our weaknesses and understands our temptations, and He helps us overcome them without forcing us by His Holy Spirit.

We try to live our own life, but Christ calls us to live for and like Him. He can sovereignly control us, yet He guides us by His Holy Spirit when we trust in Him.

When we submit ourselves to the will of God, the Holy Spirit empowers us to fully resist the devil, God Himself rebuking Satan with His own Word and power.

God is our Savior and Lord, and the Holy Spirit reminds us of this by pointing us to the reminders in Scripture and to Christ’s glory.

The Christian faith is not merely a personal thing. It is a community and declaration to the world of Christ’s sovereignty and goodness, and the Holy Spirit empowers us to be in community and share that faith.

Whatever will bring God glory and spread His love and grace, God will give us when we ask, and He gives us the Holy Spirit so that He can help us to know what to ask for.

Our God of peace who brought us peace requires us to also live in peace with others, and He gives us the Holy Spirit to move His peace through us.

Our Lord sends His Holy Spirit to guide us in all truth and obedience, helping us grow in love and faithfulness to each other and God.

“Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”

We are not bound to the Law of Moses with strict rules and sacrifices, for the perfect sacrifice was made. In Christ, we now seek to love God who indwells us by His Holy Spirit and helps us.

I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.

God has not given us instructions and then abandoned us. He has promised to keep teaching us by His Holy Spirit, a promise of eternal security.
