VerseD: 1 Corinthians 13:4

Love is patient, love is kind. Love does not envy, is not boastful, is not conceited

1 Corinthians 13:4, HCSB

In a world of pain, violence, and oppression, God empowers us to live out the same love and grace that Jesus showed through the cross. The Church should be the place that this is lived out the most in harmony, forgiveness, and patience.

This Sunday at Church: Pray for the unity of your church pastors

Unity amongst our leadership became a major priority in 2023, which we called “the year of the attack on unity” for our congregation. 2024 was not better, but we have become more close-knit as leaders and even amongst the congregation as a whole.

Pray hard and often for the unity of pastors and elders.

Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears us up; God is our salvation. Selah

Psalm 68:19, ESV

God moves in and with us, guiding us and strengthening us, and the primary way He does this is by the Holy Spirit through His Church. Trust Him and be with His people.

VerseD: 2 Corinthians 12:10

For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Christ moves in us no matter the circumstances, using our weaknesses and strengths for His glory and for the Chirch. He also helps us through the Church, other broken and weak people to help each other.
