We try to find the good in things and make life better, but God has shown us in the Bible that our only hope is in Christ, and He is helping us through this life and into the next.

We keep seeking our best lives and how to live well.

It is all found in the Bible, the Word of God, full of truth and guidance.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

We want to be with God. We must follow the One who is God who became a man to show us how to be with God.

With everyone doing “what is right in their own eyes,” this world gets crazy and dangerous, but we can find peace and comfort from God in His Word.

The Word became flesh to point us to forgiveness and restoration with God, and the Holy Spirit empowers us to share this news with others to lead them toward faith in Christ.

When we are found in Christ, we are joined into the great Temple of God – the Chirch – held together by the mortar of the Word and fellowship in the Spirit.

Our first source of wisdom is always the Holy Spirit, by inward leading, church attending, and Bible reading. All we need do is ask for more wisdom!

The number one way the Holy Spirit speaks to us is through what has been written in the Bible, and He reminds us those words to help us remain faithful to God and His Word, pointing us to Jesus.

So Jesus again said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep. All who came before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture.

There are many false teachers out there, but Jesus has given us His Word and the Holy Spirit to help us know His voice and truth.

And behold, one of those who were with Jesus stretched out his hand and drew his sword and struck the servant of the high priest and cut off his ear. Then Jesus said to him, “Put your sword back into its place. For all who take the sword will perish by the sword.

We have a tendency to want to protect Jesus, but He is the one who came to save us.

We may make a defense of the Word, but The Word died for us knowing He would come back.
