Now those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.

God wants to give us all good things according to His will, and that begins by giving up our own desires for God’s will and desires, giving us a family in Christ and eternal peace and life to be shared with others.

God loves us and wants what’s best for us. He calls us to seek Him first and foremost, and He will meet all our needs.

The power of Christ moves in us by the Holy Spirit, and as we seek Him we have His righteousness flow ever more through us. We then find ourselves less anxious and worried, and we can show the love and peace of Christ to others.

Nothing we do can make us righteous, but our Holy and migjt y God grants us the righteousness of Jesus when we put our faith in His death on the cross and His resurrection.

It is not what we do that makes us righteous before God, but it’s faith in Christ’s death on the cross and His resurrection that brings us righteousness. We then should want to share that righteousness with others to bring them to faith, and any other ways we can give like our Lord has to us should be our desire.
