VerseD: Acts 1:8

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come on you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

The message has not changed, and we are empowered by the Holy Spirit to be Christ’s witnesses to the world, proclaiming His death, resurrection, ascension, and imminent return.

VerseD: Acts 4:31

When they had prayed, the place where they were assembled was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak the word of God boldly.

We watch our lives, knowing many will reject the message of Christ and look for any reason, including how we live. Thankfully, we are empowered by the Holy Spirit to be faithful and grow in Christlikeness and share the gospel boldly and courageously.

VerseD: Habakkuk 2:14

For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the Lord’s glory, as the water covers the sea.

God has come to us, and now we are sent to proclaim His glory to the whole world until His return.

VerseD: Acts 1:8

Christ has sent us into the world, sent filled by the Holy Spirit to proclaim Christ.

May we join with the saints of all time in declaring the salvation found in Christ alone to the whole world until His return.

And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.”

This world has rejected God, but as the Father sent the Son to save the world, they send the Holy Spirit to send us to proclaim that message of His coming.

VerseD: 2 Corinthians 4:18

as we look not to the things that are seen but to the things that are unseen. For the things that are seen are transient, but the things that are unseen are eternal.

2 Corinthians 4:18, ESV

We give thanks and all praise to our God who left His eternal home to take on a physical body for our forgiveness and redemption.

Let us trust in and proclaim the name of Christ.

VerseD: Isaiah 6:8

And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here I am! Send me.”

Isaiah 6:8, ESV

It is intimidating, even scary to stand for God’s truth.

Yet, our Lord came and willingly went to the cross for truth, so let us follow His example in His strength by the power of the Holy Spirit.

VerseD: John 1:29

The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!”
John 1:29, ESV

John the Baptist recognized Jesus as our sacrifice and Shepherd, our Lord and Friend.
Like John, w should proclaim the Son of God who has redeemed us from our sin, who has come and is coming again!

VerseD: John 5:24

Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life. He does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life.
John 5:24, ESV

Do we believe God and His Word?
Live out His commands.
Love others.
Help them believe the truth of Christ.
