God’s heart is for the oppressed, and the poor in spirit are aware of how oppressive sin is. God reaches out by the Holy Spirit to draw us to Christ and find freedom.

God’s heart is for the oppressed, especially that all are oppressed by sin. When we focus too much on our sin and evil in the world, it is easy to be depressed, but focusing on Christ gives peace and hope.

But He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for power is perfected in weakness.” Therefore, I will most gladly boast all the more about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may reside in me.

God’s heart is for the oppressed, and when we give ourselves over to His freedom from sin He can even use our weaknesses for good, perhaps as a bridge to others who are oppressed.

God’s heart is for the oppressed. All are oppressed by sin, but some face more challenges. The Holy Spirit should move us in the love of Christ to seek justice in all things.

When we put our faith in Christ and His work on the cross, He gives us the Holy Spirit who leads us into repentance and Christ-like living, including turning from sin, being baptized, and leading others to repentant faith.

Then Jesus spoke to them again: “I am the light of the world. Anyone who follows Me will never walk in the darkness but will have the light of life.”

When we put our faith in Christ and His work on the cross, the Holy Spirit enters us and fills us with the light of Christ to go into the world and share that light.

Then He said to His disciples, “The harvest is abundant, but the workers are few. Therefore, pray to the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest.”

When we put our faith in the work of Christ through the cross, we are invited and commanded to share that faith with others, showing them the truth of who Christ is in the power of the Holy Spirit.

God’s love was revealed among us in this way: God sent His One and Only Son into the world so that we might live through Him.

Though we are sinful, God sent Jesus to live, die on a cross for our forgiveness, and rise again. His love gives us hope for peace and everlasting life, and we should share this with all people.

Though we are sinful, Christ has redeemed us by His grace and sacrifice, filling us with His light and sending us into the world to spread His light.

This life is all we have to choose Christ, the author and giver of life, and we should use this life to bring more people to God through Christ by the power of His indwelling Holy Spirit.
