Sermon: Galatians 2:11-21 – Built Up or Tearing Down

I preached again!

Once again I was in Paulden Christian Fellowship. Pastor Paul started the Letter to the Galatians, so as I cover the preaching and teaching while he recovers from surgery I picked up with the second half of chapter 2.

Unlike usual, I do not have a copy of notes below, but I have provided the PowerPoint.

Therefore, be imitators of God, as dearly loved children.

God is the only true way to eternal life, and we are called to imitate His sacrificial love, grace, compassion, and mercy with all people, seeking to glorify the name of God and make Christ known.

VerseD: Psalm 37:4

Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you your heart’s desires.

Yahweh, You are my God; I will exalt You. I will praise Your name, for You have accomplished wonders, plans formed long ago, with perfect faithfulness.

Isaiah 25:1, HCSB

God us the only true way to eternal life, and He is found through the wonderful of Christ’s coming, death on a cross, and rising again, as was always planned for our salvation and His glory.

VerseD: Matthew 13:44

“The kingdom of heaven is like treasure, buried in a field, that a man found and reburied. Then in his joy he goes and sells everything he has and buys that field.”

Matthew 13:44, HCSB

Seeking God is the inky true way to eternal life, and that treasure of life is Christ. In Him alone are we at peace with God with hope for eternity.
