The greatest reason we receive the Holy Spirit is to share the Gospel: the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus for our forgiveness.
If anything is taught as more important, that is a false Gospel from a false spirit.
Be angry and do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger
Ephesians 4:26, ESV
There is enough in this world to make us angry, and that we are right to be angry about. Our anger should not control us or lead us to break God’s Law or forget the image of God in others.
And of we only get angrier and bitter, give it to God and find good ways to help the situation.
For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Fear not, I am the one who helps you.”
Isaiah 41:13, ESV
God is nearest the lowly, it is said. Yet, God is omnipresent – everywhere. We are more aware of Him when at our lowest.
That is when we get ourselves out of the way and listen to the One comforting us and guiding us in truth.
Cast your burden on the Lord , and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.
Psalm 55:22, ESV
Our righteousness is in Christ, our Rock and foundation. Whatever comes our way, He keeps us steady and strong in His mighty strength and faithfulness.
Rest in Him.
“Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?”
Matthew 6:25, ESV
God wants to take care of us. Not like prosperity preachers teach, but in meeting our daily needs. We need less than we realize, and God knows best what we need.
Seek Him.
Blessed are those who keep his testimonies, who seek him with their whole heart

“If you love me, you will keep my commandments.” John 14:15
“If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.” Matthew 16:24
Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.
John 15:13, ESV
God set the example. Jesus called us friends if we follow Him, and that means sacrifice and pointing people to the truth of our need for salvation.
And he said to all, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it.”
Luke 9:23-24, ESV
Do not think you life will not change following Christ. We are expected to conform to His image and live lives of sacrifice.
