Our greatest temptations are for things we like or want most. Watch yourself, with the help of The Helper, and learn self-control.
“Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?”
Matthew 6:25, ESV
God wants to take care of us. Not like prosperity preachers teach, but in meeting our daily needs. We need less than we realize, and God knows best what we need.
Seek Him.
The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.
Psalm 23:1-2 ESV
We can find all we need in God, the Comforter of our souls who has brought us peace in Christ. And one day we will enter His rest from this sinful world.
