Sometimes it can feel difficult to worship God, but, if we diligently search the Scripture and remember His goodness, we can find it easier to praise our Creator, Protector, and Healer.

We must realize our shared state, as revealed by observation and within the pages of Scripture: we are all horrible sinners, and God alone is good.

May we love each other with the same love and kindness Christ showed us.

“But I say to you who hear, Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you.”

We say we want to be kind to others, but it is by studying and sharing God’s Word, which reveals the kindness of God toward us in Jesus, that we know what true kindness is.

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

God is the One who saves us from death and wrath against our sin, and He also provides for everything we need. We know this from His inspired Word, the Bible.

Seek out God, and trust in His Word.

We can find the truth of God by searching His Word – the Bible – honestly, and we investigate the claims of Christ with an open mind and heart.

Everything in the 66 books from Genesis through Revelation was given through men by God to show us how (and not) to live, find the truth of Christ, and grow together in godliness.

We want comfort and ease, but do we want these things more than we want God?

May we seek to please God above our own comfort and needs, for we know He will take care of us.

We seek youth, the miraculous, and freedom from death and decay. Only God can do any of these, and He proved it through Christ’s life, death, and resurrection.
