We must realize our shared state, as revealed by observation and within the pages of Scripture: we are all horrible sinners, and God alone is good.

We say we want to be kind to others, but it is by studying and sharing God’s Word, which reveals the kindness of God toward us in Jesus, that we know what true kindness is.

May we seek to please God above our own comfort and needs, for we know He will take care of us.
