So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.
Galatians 6:10, ESV
God became one of us to redeem people from sin and death, known as His Church. Let us likewise live sacrificially in love for others, especially to each other in the Church.
“By this all people will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”
John 13:35, ESV
God showed His love by becoming like us and dying for us. The absolute least we can do is love each other in the Church, lest we show we are not His disciples. Love with Jesus’ patient, gracious love.
So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

We have faith in Christ’s work to save, hope in His resurrection of eternal life, and by these we know He loves us. Let us now love each other.

God has revealed Himself and His standard for our lives in Scripture, and He demonstrated it by coming to us as one of us. May we seek this God and serve Him well, with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Our God who never changes gifts us with a change in heart and mind to love Him and share His love and joy with others.
There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.

We are naturally under God’s wrath, but in Christ we are blessed with grace and freedom to love, knowing we are loved.
