We were made in the image of God, so may we treat others with the same mercy He has shown us, being patient and withholding judgment. May we love others like our Lord.

VerseD: Lamentations 3:22-23

Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.

We were created in God’s image, to love Him and others as He loves us. When we believe this, we can know His faithfulness, trusting in the future, and we can share that faithfulness with others to bring them into hope.

We are created in God’s image, so let us follow Christ’s example of listening, asking questions, and only then offering advice or insight, honoring the image of God in each of us.

You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.

All goodness and power to overcome evil comes from our God who made us in His image. No one else has true power over us because of Him.

Christ came as our example and to renew us. It is not just communion that we take in reverence, but we thank God for every bite, every sip, every action, and every breath we have His grace of taking.

Call to Prayer: Truth Quest 2024

Tonight and tomorrow (April 12-13) is the Truth Quest Youth Apologetics Conference in Prescott, AZ.

We have about 250 youth present.

Please pray all of us speakers speak well the words of truth, and may all find freedom in Christ!

and he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

Christ was sent to renew our hearts and bring us grace and forgiveness, and we know He loves us but will also bring this world to an end. May the Spirit guide us in bringing others to this grace.

For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world

Christ came to us, sent by the Father to teach and redeem us, and by the Holy Spirit we can overcome sin and temptation to live for Him.

VerseD: Ezekiel 36:26

‭A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

God has sent His Word – Scripture and His Son – so that by the Holy Spirit we may be renewed in heart, soul, and mind. He gives it to us when we believe in Him.

Yours, Lord, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the splendor and the majesty, for everything in the heavens and on earth belongs to You. Yours, Lord, is the kingdom, and You are exalted as head over all.

We know that God is sovereign and all-powerful, so we can trust in Him to care for us and defend us when evil comes our way.
