“Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”
Isaiah 43:18-19, ESV
The Light of world came to us to establish a new covenant, sacrificing Himself for our salvation and rising again for our hope. Now He dwells in and through us to shine His goodness in this dark and crazy world.
And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
Hebrews 10:24-25, ESV
The Light of the world moves in and through us to the rest of the world. May we then gather as His Church to encourage each other to grow in love and good works, to shine brightly in the hope of eternity and Christ’s return.
This is a heartfelt and heart-wrenching view of grief at the holidays that I think many could find encouragement and even the beginnings of healing from.
Let us pray for all grieving at this time (whenever you read this or it comes to mind!)

God has planned every day of history, and He has planned on our full redemption. He has come and is coming again, and we all have a desire for eternal life.
Seek God now, and find eternal life in Christ.

Because God became one of us and has risen to glory, we know He can help us in all things and gives us hope for eternity.
Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
Isaiah 7:14, ESV
Good became one of us, and He made sure we knew it was Him firstly by having a virgin birth Him. Then He died to save us from sin. Let us celebrate His miraculous love.
Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing!
Psalm 100:2, ESV
God became one of us to redeem us from sin and separation. Let us gather together in joy to thankfully sing His praises.
Glory in his holy name; let the hearts of those who seek the Lord rejoice!
1 Chronicles 16:10, ESV
Because we know that God became one of us to save us from sin and wrath, we can come together as believers and joyfully praise His Name, now and forever!
Clap your hands, all peoples! Shout to God with loud songs of joy!
Psalm 47:1, ESV
Our God became one of us to save us from our sins and restore us to relationship with Him. Let us celebrate His goodness and grace together, worshipping as His redeemed Church.
The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts, and I am helped; my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.
Psalm 28:7, ESV
Our God came to us, showing His love and compassion by becoming one of us, showing His grace and power by saving us from sin and overcoming death. Let us praise Him for His help and power in our lives, trusting our Great King and Shepherd.
