VerseD: Titus 2:11-12

Christ came to us, sent by the Father to teach and redeem us, and by the Holy Spirit we can overcome sin and temptation to live for Him.

VerseD: Ezekiel 36:26

‭A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

God has sent His Word – Scripture and His Son – so that by the Holy Spirit we may be renewed in heart, soul, and mind. He gives it to us when we believe in Him.

VerseD: Ephesians 6:18

Pray at all times in the Spirit with every prayer and request, and stay alert in this with all perseverance and intercession for all the saints.

We get through this life and even thrive because we have God’s Word, God’s people, and God’s Spirit guiding, encouraging, and empowering us. May we pray in the Spirit for each other and all of our needs.

VerseD: Ephesians 6:13

This is why you must take up the full armor of God, so that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having prepared everything, to take your stand.

Because Christ lives, when we believe in Him we have access to the Holy Spirit who empowers us by His Word to stand up to temptations, persecutions, and all manner of evil.

Put on the full armor of God so that you can stand against the tactics of the Devil.

Because Christ lives, when we believe in Him we have access to the Holy Spirit and His anointing to worship and serve Him while resisting the lies and temptations of Satan.

but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence

Christ came to be our example, and He also sent His Spirit to indwell us and help us answer those who question the faith. May we seek Him to know Him and make Him known.

VerseD: Joshua 1:9

‭”Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

God made us for fellowship, and Christ came to us and later sent His Holy Spirit to draw us toward Himself and each other. May we go out to draw others in, knowing He is with us as we go.

‭I have been crucified with Christ, and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

How can we go on loving our sin when Christ died for those sins and now lives in us? Let us cling to our Savior and seek His love and grace in every area of our lives.

VerseD: Ephesians 5:1-2

Therefore, be imitators of God, as dearly loved children, and walk in love, as Christ also loved us and gave himself for us, a sacrificial and fragrant offering to God.

How can we not live others, when Christ have us the perfect example to follow by sacrificing Himself for our benefit? Let us sacrifice of our time, energy, resources, and even our lives for the sake of the gospel and the souls of others.

‭He made the one who did not know sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.

How can we keep on sinning when we know Christ took our sin upon Himself? May we grow in sinning less by loving Him and each other more.
