Christ is our example of love, and He demonstrated love by not lashing out against humans but against sin and satanic powers. We now love others and turn to Christ and His Word to combat evil.

The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.

We give up our old life when we come to Christ, a lofe led by evil choices and following the ways of Satan. In Christ we have true life and peace.

Put on the full armor of God so that you can stand against the tactics of the Devil.

Because Christ lives, when we believe in Him we have access to the Holy Spirit and His anointing to worship and serve Him while resisting the lies and temptations of Satan.

But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.

God has told us through His Word how to defend ourselves against evil, and He also gives us help to be faithful by the Holy Spirit.

We don’t have to live in fear, knowing that God has defeated Satan and the lower of this world through the cross.

When we submit ourselves to the will of God, the Holy Spirit empowers us to fully resist the devil, God Himself rebuking Satan with His own Word and power.

God is our defender, having crushed Satan’s head through the cross.

Let us draw closely to God, submitting to His sovereignty and might, and He will drive the Devil away.

By the power of the Word and the Holy Spirit, we are defended against the attacks of Satan and this world. Dig in and trust.

We agar the truth of the Gospel because we are not fighting against people. We are fighting against demonic powers and ideologies with the truth of God to save fellow image-bearers from the earth of God.

Just as Jesus refuted the Devil when being tempted, we can withstand temptation and sin by reading and knowing God’s Word.
