We love God by loving others, and we love others the same way God loves us: by grace, forgiveness, and sacrificing our own wants and needs for others.

Our God is in control, and though He took on flesh He does not change. We can trust that He will always look out or us and guide us truthfully.

We know God is in control and allowing evil people to build up their wickedness (and wait for all who will come to Him), so, by the power of the Holy Spirit, we endure the evil in this world and work toward combating evil with good works and Christ’s love.

Our God loves us, as proven by His haven’t destroyed us all yet and by keeping His promises, especially through the cross of Christ.

We are able to love because the source of love loves us, and we should share His love with the world.

It is the love and grace of God that helps us see the world’s schemes as well as beauty, helping us want to choose His good and perfect way.

More than a feeling, more than logical assent, loving God means obeying all He has commanded, including loving our fellow image-bearers and sinners.

We so often wish to do our own thing, but the Holy Spirit directs us and transforms us to think and act like Christ to the glory of the Father. May we choose to follow.

We tend to be selfish, self-focuded. In Christ, the Holy Spirit helps us genuinely care for others, joining in weeping and pain as well as celebrating and laughing. All to the glory of God.

We can be childish in our reactions to problems and our own sinfulness. Instead, we should take responsibility for our own sin and trust God to handle our forgiveness and problems we face, eing ready to stand for and proclaim truth.
