VerseD: John 15:2

Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.

God expects us to be in His Word and sharing the gospel with others as we sacrificially help others in the name of Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit.
To not do these may indicate we are not a part of the Vine.

VerseD: John 14:26

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.
John 14:26, ESV

His helps us remember His Word to fight off temptations to sin and to lead others in all truth to the saving knowledge of Jesus.

VerseD: Ephesians 4:2-3

with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
Ephesians 4:2-3, ESV

When the world sees the peace we strive for within the Church, they will want that same peace and love that we receive through the Holy Spirit.

“For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.”

We hold each other accountable to God’s Word and all godliness, and Christ empowers us to remain faithful.

VerseD: Hebrews 4:12

For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
Hebrews 4:12, ESV

Scripture – the words given by the Holy Spirit – and Jesus. Both are the Word of God, capable of cutting through our lies, deceptions, imaginings, and masks to reveal our sinful desires yet also offer hope for forgiveness and eternal life.

VerseD: Isaiah 41:10

fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
Isaiah 41:10, ESV

Whatever comes our way, whether we face troubles, persecutions, or merely share our faith, God is with us and helping us.

VerseD: Galatians 2:20

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.

We war against our sinful desires, but our lives have been redeemed by Christ who dwells within us and fights for by His Holy Spirit.

VerseD: Isaiah 55:1-2

“Come, everyone who thirsts, come to the waters; and he who has no money, come, buy and eat! Come, buy wine and milk without money and without price. Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread, and your labor for that which does not satisfy? Listen diligently to me, and eat what is good, and delight yourselves in rich food.”
Isaiah 55:1‭-‬2, ESV

We should drink mightily of the water of the Holy Spirit, the fountain of Life,  and eat abundantly of the Word, reading Scripture and partaking in the Son of God, all to the glory of the Father.

VerseD: Psalm 139:13-14

For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.
Psalm 139:13‭-‬14, ESV

Our God created us, so we know that from conception into death and beyond He knows us and is capable of all things to and through us by His Holy Spirit.

VerseD: Matthew 5:14

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.”
Matthew 5:14, ESV

By the Holy Spirit, Christ – the Light of Man – lives and moves through us. We should be showing that light to our dark world through our love and good works that point all to glorify God.
