I have been defending this verse for over a decade. I first refuted friends who said their was no need to call out sins between each other, because “where two or three are gathered …” Those friends spotted associating with me for my spirit of legalism I refused to have expelled. I basically replied “But God’s Word …” From Jesus Himself, no less.
Thankfully, a couple of those friends have come out of the hyper-charismatic movement.
Do we truly love the Lord our God with all our hearts, souls, minds, and strengths? Maybe I can help with the mind part, at least! This is Daniel M. Klem, apparent poet, reluctant yet passionate Disciple (Peter?), and foolish man attempting to understand theology!
I see you interpreted this corrrectly
