VerseD: John 8:12

Again Jesus spoke to them, saying, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

God came to us, the Light of Life, to fill us with Life. By His Holy Spirit we are empowered to walk in His light and lead others to life.

VerseD: 1 John 4:9

In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him.

1 John 4:9, ESV‬

God came to us to give us grace and eternal life, and now He sends us out in the power of the Holy Spirit to share this love and life with others.

VerseD: Acts 2:38

And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.”

The Holy Spirit empowers us to Repent and faithfully follow Christ. Our God has sent Him that we may be sent out to lead others to forgiveness in Christ.

VerseD: Acts 1:8

“‭But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

Christ has sent us into the world, sent filled by the Holy Spirit to proclaim Christ.

VerseD: Matthew 28:19

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them inthe name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit

Our God is faithful, as shown in coming to us to save us from our sin and His wrath. He now calls us and empowers us to faithfully go and share this good news and raise up other faithful followers.

VerseD: John 15:2

Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.

John 15:2, ESV‬

Or God is faithful and calls us to faithfulness, and He helps us to be faithful when we trust in Him. If we prove faithless, He may put us in trials to prune out that faithlessness or simply prune us out, showing we were never His.

VerseD: Luke 1:45

“And blessed is she who believed that there would be a fulfillment of what was spoken to her from the Lord.”

Luke 1:45, ESV‬

The mother of our Lord believed promised of God, even when it meant difficult times and even pain. May we join with her in faithfulness to God, living in the Spirit as we carry the Son to the world.

‭But Ruth said, “Do not urge me to leave you or to return from following you. For where you go I will go, and where you lodge I will lodge. Your people shall be my people, and your God my God.

God is faithful and calls us to faithfulness. This is done by His help and drawing near with fellow believers, our brothers and sisters in Christ. Let us help each other be faithful in love and faithfulness.

But the Lord is faithful. He will establish you and guard you against the evil one.

Our God is omnipotent and omniscient, and He has promised to save those who put their faith in Christ. We can trust in Him to deliver us.

VerseD: Isaiah 53:5

But he was pierced for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his wounds we are healed.

Our God is omnipotent and omniscient, knowing the time and place and having the power to come to us Himself and redeem us from our sins on the cross, prophecied 700 years before.

We can trust in our powerful, saving God.
