God created everything for us and to be with us, yet we often want this world more than Him. Let us be changed by the Holy Spirit to want Him and all that is good, to know good from evil and know Him more.

God has told us what is good, and by adopting us through the blood of Christ and renewing our minds by the power of the Holy Spirit, He helps us live in loving obedience.

We give God praise, because He made us. We may have rebelled from Him, but He does not leave us to fend for ourselves. He helps us grow in knowledge and relationship with Him.

We want to change the world, but God calls us to start with our own hearts and minds, seeking His heart and mind in our lives.

We want God to do things our way, but He draws nearest to those who seek His will. We seek His will more as we move with the Holy Spirit who conforms our will to God’s, drawing us ever nearer to God.

May our Lord, Creator, and Savior conform our minds to His as we seek Him (and even when we stray!)
Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

God wants us to rely on Him, that we could do more than we know. Growing stronger in Christ conforms us ever more to His likeness, and our hope and love grows.
