Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God.

God created everything for us and to be with us, yet we often want this world more than Him. Let us be changed by the Holy Spirit to want Him and all that is good, to know good from evil and know Him more.

God has told us what is good, and by adopting us through the blood of Christ and renewing our minds by the power of the Holy Spirit, He helps us live in loving obedience.

Prayer changes us, and gratitude especially makes us more hopeful and thankful in general. We seek God to grow in His joy and Will.

Prayer changes us and draws into God’s will. We seek God and are conformed to His will.

VerseD: Romans 12:2

We give God praise, because He made us. We may have rebelled from Him, but He does not leave us to fend for ourselves. He helps us grow in knowledge and relationship with Him.

We want to change the world, but God calls us to start with our own hearts and minds, seeking His heart and mind in our lives.

The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.

We want God to do things our way, but He draws nearest to those who seek His will. We seek His will more as we move with the Holy Spirit who conforms our will to God’s, drawing us ever nearer to God.

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my rock and my redeemer.

May our Lord, Creator, and Savior conform our minds to His as we seek Him (and even when we stray!)

VerseD: Romans 5:3-5

Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God’s love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us.

God wants us to rely on Him, that we could do more than we know. Growing stronger in Christ conforms us ever more to His likeness, and our hope and love grows.

When saturated in the culture, it is easier to be like everyone else. Move with the Spirit to be made new in Christ in every moment.
