Rather, the Father wants to share salvation and sanctification with us. Call on Him, and the Son will be revealed to you through the Holy Spirit.
Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God.

This is sanctification.
Let the Father change you through the Holy Spirit ever more to be like Christ. Repentance literally means “change your mind”. It takes a changing of the way you think to change your actions.
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.

Salvation is a moment. Both 2000 years ago and the moment you believe.
However, we walk out our salvation for the rest of life, as we follow the Light of Christ and let Him continue to cleanse us.
