Our Lord has shown us mercy by dying in our place.
We can at least show mercy to our fellow fallen humans in response.

“Blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness’ sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.”

You are blessed to be considered worthy to suffer as our Lord. If you are truly persecuted for faith in Christ, you are in the Kingdom.
Men have been given a bad rap in our society.Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.
1 Corinthians 16:13-14, ESV
Since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God.

We know that God is preparing the Bride of Christ, His Church, to be a holy temple, and that Christ will be returning soon.
Therefore, we should be preparing ourselves, as well, knowing He keeps His promises and works all things for His glory.
Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus

We were made to imitate God, who is loving, compassionate, and willing to serve and help anyone.
Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience,

As a Christian, are you known for your compassion, kindness, humility, patience, and your ability to not be easily offended or thought stupid/ ignorant/gullible/foolish?
All of these can be hard, but especially in this current world we struggle with meekness.
I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called

It is not enough to say you are a Christian. It takes more than simply going to church. It is a life change, and we should be growing in and showing love, respect, patience, and kindness to people while standing up for truth.
“Judge not, that you be not judged. For with the judgment you pronounce you will be judged, and with the measure you use it will be measured to you.”
Matthew 7:1-2, ESV
Jesus never said “never judge.” He warned to use good judgment, but realize you invite judgment from others.
Judge yourself first according to Scripture, then help others do the same.
Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.

Just as Christ – God become Man – sacrificed Himself for our sins, we should be willing to sacrifice anything and everything for the sake of others in the love and name of Christ.
He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?
Micah 6:8, ESV
Do not seek what is fair, but what is just.
Show kindness to all, not only those who agree with you.
Realize your need for God to change you, not try to change your own life or things in this world.
