VerseD: John 12:14-15

And Jesus found a young donkey and sat on it, just as it is written, “Fear not, daughter of Zion; behold, your king is coming, sitting on a donkey’s colt!”
John 12:14‭-‬15, ESV

DHe entered Jerusalem on a donkey, the King arriving to make His sacrifice.
When He returns, it will be on a white horse to remove His enemies.
We celebrate His coming and warn of His return!

VerseD: John 1:29

The next day he saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, “Behold, the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world!”
John 1:29, ESV

John the Baptist recognized Jesus as our sacrifice and Shepherd, our Lord and Friend.
Like John, w should proclaim the Son of God who has redeemed us from our sin, who has come and is coming again!

VerseD: Jeremiah 17:7

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord.”
Jeremiah 17:7, ESV

All of our hope, peace, and strength come from God. He has given us more than enough reason to trust Him, most notably by the cross of Christ.

Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
James 4:7, ESV

Temptations and troubles come, but turning to God gives us the power and peace to overcome.

VerseD: Psalm 27:4

One thing have I asked of the Lord , that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple.
Psalm 27:4, ESV

Is our heart’s desire to be with God? Trials, troubles, and challenges should draw us closer to Him, for He is our only hope and strength.

VerseD: Psalm 18:2

The Lord is my rock and my fortress and my deliverer, my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
Psalm 18:2, ESV

When the troubles and temptations of this world seem great, we know that our God is greater and is helping and defending us.

VerseD: 1 John 4:4

Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.
1 John 4:4, ESV

By prayer and being in the Word, we know we are not overcome by this world and it’s lies and it’s master. Christ in us is stronger!

pray without ceasing

We are able to live the Christian life and more fully share the gospel when we are regularly and frequently in communication with our Lord and Savior.

VerseD: Ephesians 2:10

For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.
Ephesians 2:10, ESV

We were created to glorify God in Jesus’ Name. That is our purpose.

VerseD: Ephesians 4:31-32

Let all bitterness and wrath and anger and clamor and slander be put away from you, along with all malice. Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ forgave you.
Ephesians 4:31‭-‬32, ESV

The One with every right to have wrath against us chose grace and forgiveness. Let God handle those who [may] have wronged you; show grace and forgiveness.
