Beginning in a few hours is a youth camp in beautiful Prescott, AZ. I was asked to be the main speaker, and I wrote the outline for the teachings.
Our focus is Psalm 1 and The Mountaintop Experience. Please pray we speak well sharing God’s truth, that these teenagers encounter God in a meaningful and impact full way, and that it is an overall safe and fun weekend. (Of course, God’s will in all things above all!)
Thankfully, my wife gets to join me, so it is also a bit of a retreat for us!
We challenged them with “coming off the mountain” and being in Church. 2 expressed a desire in baptism!
I may be posting at least the teaching notes if not videos of the lessons.(We were tired, though, but somehow they got a lot out of it all!) Many of these students have difficult lives, so it was good that they got away for this.
I pray God uses it even when they leave the camp!
