God’s Law is based on His character, who He is. When we truly take in His Word by the power of the Holy Spirit, it will change our character, our inner-selves, to be more like our holy and righteous God.

VerseD: James 1:25

But the one who looks into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and perseveres, being no hearer who forgets but a doer who acts, he will be blessed in his doing.

God’s Law is not a set of arbitrary rules but based on His character, so He came as one of us to perfectly obey.

Now He helps us by His Holy Spirit to love in Christ’s obedience when we believe in His death and resurrection.

VerseD: Genesis 1:1

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.

We see an eternal, All-powerful, personal, loving God from the very beginning. He didn’t need to create us, but He did. Perfectly. And He has a plan.

Trust in Him.

VerseD: Ecclesiastes 3:11

‭He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man’s heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.

God has planned every day of history, and He has planned on our full redemption. He has come and is coming again, and we all have a desire for eternal life.

Seek God now, and find eternal life in Christ.

The Lord has established his throne in the heavens, and his kingdom rules over all.

God is in control. He is beyond time and space yet holds it all together in His might. Give Him all glory.

‭He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.

Our God became one of us to show His power, lifting up we who were powerless on our sin into His righteousness. He invites us to walk with Him in faithfulness.

VerseD: Galatians 6:10

So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith.

God became one of us to redeem people from sin and death, known as His Church. Let us likewise live sacrificially in love for others, especially to each other in the Church.

Because God became one of us and has risen to glory, we know He can help us in all things and gives us hope for eternity.

‭Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and he will repay him for his deed.

Just as our Lord became a poor human to save humanity from sin with His generous love and grace, we show His love and grace to others when we help those in need. We are serving Him as He serves through us, and we will draw others to join us as co-heirs of eternal life with Christ.

God’s power was on display, even as He became a baby. His very name showed Hos power, as this baby would grow up and take away the sins of all who believe in Him.
