God has a standard, a perfect way He expects us to live. Not choosing to follow leads to pain and death. Accepting we can never attain perfection on our own, we turn to the Perfect One who made a way for us.
Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.

When we live according to God’s will, we will be successful. It may not be the the success we expect, but being established in God makes everything work for His glory.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.

God is far above us in every regard, it is best to simply trust Hin and His Word to guide us in this life and have hope for the next.

When we follow along with the crowd or are too afraid to stand for what is true and right because of the culture, we risk offending our Creator even more.
The worst the world can do to us is kill us, and then we are with God, anyway.

Living a life of peace fosters peace. Seeking peace with and for God through Jesus Christ brings eternal life and possibly life for others to His glory.
