In other words, entrust your plans to God, and realize He is in control. Rest in His strength and wisdom.

Trusting God – the Creator and Sustainer of all things – helps us keep things in perspective and to plan out our days.

We are never assured of tomorrow, not even the evening.

God knows what is coming. Trust God, include Him in your plans. Be flexible and willing to change.

We tend to think that we can do plant of good things, but often our motives are less than pure, even selfish. God knows every intention and motive of our hearts.

Commit your way to the Lord , Trust also in Him, and He will do it.

This is not simply a “Lord, bless what I am doing” thing. Our desires and plans should be aligning with God’s. As our wills align, He will do it, because it is already His will.

Commit your works to the Lord And your plans will be established.

God is not a magic genie that will grant our wishes.

Rather, we should be so desirous of the Lord that our plans are essentially His. How can we fail of our will is matched to His?

We make plans and set our own expectations, but we truly follow God’s ultimate plan according to His perfect expectations, fulfilled in Christ.
