There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and whoever fears has not been perfected in love.

When found in Christ, we are no longer condemned. The fear of punishment is gone.

We should still tremble before a mighty God, but our fear should transform into not wanting to disappoint our loving God who first loved us.

Do not merely go to church.

Cherish your salvation!

Read your Bible!

Serve others in love!

Because He loved us enough to come and die for us. We ought to be ready to do the same for Him.

Do not cause problems or seek popularity or fame.

Take care of yourself, sure, but even more importantly take care of other people.

But, again, do not help others to seek favor, fame, or … revenge.
