VerseD: John 15:2

Every branch in Me that does not produce fruit He removes, and He prunes every branch that produces fruit so that it will produce more fruit.

The primary purpose of the Holy Spirit is not merely to give eternal life, for He also both shapes and prunes us while also working through us to shape others to be more like Christ.
