We walk in the footsteps of Christ, and walking in obedience to God reveals our sins as well as His righteousness and love for others flowing through us.

We walk in the footsteps of Christ, the one who welcomed and loved children and calls us to the same humble curiosity as children. Likewise, we should encourage curiosity and care for all children.

VerseD: Deuteronomy 7:9

Know that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps his gracious covenant loyalty for a thousand generations with those who love him and keep his commands.

We walk in the footsteps of Christ, our faithful God who is faithful to His covenants and saves us, especially after we have been unfaithful. Let us walk in the power of the Holy Spirit to live faithfully for our Savior.

We walk in the footsteps of Christ, treating others as He has treated us,  beginning with forgiveness and mercy by the power of the Holy Spirit.

God’s love was revealed among us  in this way: God sent his one and only Son into the world so that we might live through him.

Only God can save us from our sins, and He showed His love for us by sending His Son to take our sins through His death on the cross and giving us life.

God is not a man, that he might lie, or a son of man, that he might change his mind. Does he speak and not act, or promise and not fulfill?

God is faithful, and this is shown in how He dies not change. We can trust in the God who remains the same, acting on His promises, saving the lost by His grace.

But he was pierced because of our rebellion, crushed because of our iniquities; punishment for our peace was on him, and we are healed by his wounds.

God is faithful, and His faithfulness grows from His justice. To perform His divine justice, He took the penalty we deserve, faithfully fulfilling the need out of His love for His creation: us.

God is our Creator and Savior, granting us rest from sins by becoming one of us to give Himself for our sins.

God presented him as the mercy seat by his blood, through faith, to demonstrate his righteousness, because in his restraint God passed over the sins previously committed.

Jesus’ body is not in the tomb after dying for our sins, so we can know our sins are forgiven forever and hope for eternity with God.

Christ has freed us, and He has freed us from sin by His own blood and from the terror of God by calling us friends.
