When we let God work in us, He draws others to His truth and grace as He conforms us to the Son.

When the Maker of heaven and earth, the Judge of all Creation is on our side, we should have no reason fear.

And people will want the peace we have.

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.

God promises life is hard, especially for those of us who call on His name and proclaim His truth to a world that shuns Him.

But our faithful boldness may help convince them.

Humble yourselves, therefore, under the mighty hand of God so that at the proper time he may exalt you

The Church and the Bible show us we are sinners in need of a Savior.

Let us humbly admit our need and then share the need we all have with others.

You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in your word.

We are found in Christ, and we strengthen our faith in His Word, the Bible.

Let us point others to the Truth found in the Bible.

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in me.

Anything good we do is because of Christ working in and through us.

May we lead others to be found in Him.

Kindness and mercy are definitely important, but we should not forget grace and forgiveness as well as sharing God’s Word with all people. There is nothing more loving than pointing each other to God.

The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.

God wants us to draw near, not merely waiting for us but even coming for us, but in His truth.

Don’t chase a fake god. Pursue the Gut of the Bible.

Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.”

If we hunger and thirst for righteousness, we will find our fulfillment in Christ alone.

He is all that is good and all that satisfies.

“Yet even now,” declares the Lord, “return to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning;”

Joel 2:12, ESV

Our sin should drive into humble seeking of God and His righteousness. It is to our benefit, His glory, and a light to the world.

Because God forgives those who mourn their sin and repent.
