Jesus reminds us that life is hard, and when we don’t see the response we wanted or it doesn’t come fast enough, hang in there. Keep praying. The Holy Spirit will also give us strength, wisdom, and help with our prayers.

Likewise, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. For we do not know what to pray for as we ought, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groanings too deep for words.

Life gets hard for many reasons, and sometimes it is too much. Yet God helps us, because He loves in the believer by the Holy Spirit, so we can trust that God knows our needs and helps us pray even when we feel like we can’t.

Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”

We encourage each other in Christ to faithfulness, and we encourage each other to pray that He makes us each faithful in reaching the lost with the gospel.

So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.

We are called to share the gospel and help each other grow in the knowledge of Christ, but we know that our salvation and growth comes from God’s work in us.

Only God can redeem us and give us a new heart, and He calls to us through the cross by the Holy Spirit.

‭“Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.”

God alone is our salvation and hope, sticking closer than a friend and filling us eith His power and strength.

‭God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

God alone is our hope and greatest help. He is nearer than we realize, always able to help, even if we don’t realize it.

VerseD: Isaiah 41:10

fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

The Light of the world came to us and fills us. He has overcome sin, death, and this world, and by indwelling us shares that power in our lives.

Fear not.

One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple.

The Light of the world has come and revealed Himself to us. If we desire truth and goodness, we will see Him and He will shine through us to this world.

So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.

The Light of the world came to us, and when we believe in Him and His work on the cross He dwells in us to make us more like Him every day.
