VerseD: Psalm 77:11-12

I will remember the deeds of the Lord; yes, I will remember your wonders of old. I will ponder all your work, and meditate on your mighty deeds.

We are horrible on our own.

Jesus is good, as He is God.

Jesus came to set the example for us, Love well, die unjustly, and raise to life again – to save us from our horribleness.

Let us love sacrificially to show God’s goodness to others.

Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord!

When the world around us is overwhelming, take the time to seek and wait on God. He will strengthen and encourage you, and remind you of te hope of eternity we have in Christ.

Why are you cast down, O my soul, and why are you in turmoil within me? Hope in God; for I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.

Life in this world can get overwhelming and depressing.

Our God has given us hope for the future through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus. Seek Him to find joy.

You are my hiding place and my shield; I hope in your word.

With everyone doing “what is right in their own eyes,” this world gets crazy and dangerous, but we can find peace and comfort from God in His Word.

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me.

We are woefully sinful, but God made a way for us to be clean and righteousness through the death and resurrection of Jesus and the power of the indwelling Holy Spirit.

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.

God wants to help us. He sent Jesus to forgive and restore us, the Holy Spirit to empower us, and the Church to encourage us.

The number one way the Holy Spirit speaks to us is through what has been written in the Bible, and He reminds us those words to help us remain faithful to God and His Word, pointing us to Jesus.

Many things in this life can frighten and intimidate us, but we can turn to our sovereign, omnipotent, loving God who redeems us and comforts us.

In peace I will both lie down and sleep; for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.

Nothing we do can guarantee peace and safety in this life, but when sacrifice our peace and security with Christ and accept the peace and eternal security He offers, we can find rest for our minds and souls.

But you, O Lord, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head.

There are many things in this world that can harm us, whether persecution, illness, tragedy, or worries.

Let us pray to God who can save our souls and encourage our hearts and minds.
