We are in a spiritual war, and our enemy will try to steal our peace and make us doubt our salvation. Scripture is our primary weapon to fight back and remain near our Savior who fights for us.

We are in a spiritual war, and focusing on all the good things in this life that God has done and is doing, that we do together in the Church, directly combats the evil forces we struggle against.

So we do not focus on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

We are in a spiritual war, so we focus on our eternal God who created us, has saved us, and indwells us in power and grace to face this war with c9nfidence and boldness.

We are in a spiritual war, and our prayers for each other and praises to God help us while pushing back against evil and demonic forces.

We are in a spiritual war, and even communion is an act of warfare, declaring the triumphant death and resurrection of Christ our Savior and Lord.

We are in spiritual battle whether we acknowledge it or not, and we need the help of the Holy Spirit and the Word of God in our daily battle to resist the forces of darkness in the spiritual realm.

The power of Christ moves in us by the Holy Spirit, and He helps us to prepare and stay prepared for the inevitable attacks from demonic powers and unwanted thoughts.

The devil wishes to stop us from obeying God, but when we are prepared for His tactics, he is powerless against us.

Why do people think skipping, avoiding, or leaving church when life gets hard is helpful or preferable?

God uses the Church to strengthen, encourage, and help us when in need. Then we remain ready for our Lord’s return.
