Whether work, school, chores, driving, teaching, preaching, vacationing, relaxing, reading, writing, giving or following directions, sitting quietly, running a marathon, going to the hospital (for good or ill), or whatever

Give God the glory and thank Him for everything.

VerseD: Psalm 47:1

Clap your hands, all peoples! Shout to God with loud songs of joy!
Psalm 47:1, ESV

For all He has done for us, should we not praise and celebrate God?!

Absolutely! Be glad for what He has done, is doing, and will do.

VerseD: Psalm 22:31

they shall come and proclaim his righteousness to a people yet unborn, that he has done it.
Psalm 22:31, ESV

Christ has purchased us by His blood. We must share that good news with the world!

VerseD: John 11:25-26

Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live, and everyone who lives and believes in me shall never die. Do you believe this?”
John 11:25‭-‬26, ESV

Believe in the resurrected Lord. Only through Him can we find eternal life and joy.

He is not here, but has risen. Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee, that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified and on the third day rise.”

Jesus Christ is not dead.

He is risen!

When Jesus had received the sour wine, he said, “It is finished,” and he bowed his head and gave up his spirit.
John 19:30, ESV

Jesus died for our sinful rebellion, and the work of forgiveness was completed at the cross. Nothing more is needed.

Believe this. Trust Him. Turn to and be washed by His grace. Let the Holy Spirit change you.

VerseD: Luke 22:19

And he took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.”

Christ’s body was broken so that we may be healed, at least spiritually for now, but eventually we shall join Him with glorified bodies.

John 13:34

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another: just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another.
John 13:34, ESV

Just as Jesus spoke truth to draw us nearer to Him and offered His life as a sacrifice for others, we must do the same. We may not die for our sacrifice, but we must look at others as more important than ourselves.

VerseD: Philippians 2:8

And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross.
Philippians 2:8, ESV

God became a man to do what we never could: be perfectly obedient and offer the perfect sacrifice to atone for our sin and rebellion.

VerseD: John 6:35

Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.”
John 6:35, ESV

Jesus supplies all of our needs, though suffering may not cease until His return. Until then, our spiritual hunger and thirst are met. Then, all hunger and thirst shall be quenched.
