VerseD: Revelation 21:4

“He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.”

God’s people, who trust in the Faithful One, shall find the end of suffering and loss when He renews Creation. We cannot fully comprehend the glory to come nor the bliss of God’s complete presence and peace in that Day.

VerseD: Psalm 23:1-2

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters.
Psalm 23:1‭-‬2 ESV

We can find all we need in God, the Comforter of our souls who has brought us peace in Christ. And one day we will enter His rest from this sinful world.

VerseD: Psalm 121:1

I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come?
Psalm 121:1, ESV

In a world worried and complaining about all of the problems, we must remember God is in control and can help us.

And we can tell everyone else from where our hope comes.

VerseD: Isaiah 12:2

“Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.”
Isaiah 12:2, ESV

Many things happen in this world, but through Jesus Christ we know that God is in control and has and will redeem us from this fallen world.

VerseD: Habakkuk 2:14

For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.
Habakkuk 2:14, ESV

One day, Christ shall return. The Eternal Kingdom will reign on Earth, and all Creation shall give glory to God!

VerseD: Isaiah 54:17

“no weapon that is fashioned against you shall succeed, and you shall refute every tongue that rises against you in judgment. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord and their vindication from me, declares the Lord.”
Isaiah 54:17, ESV

As Christians, we have the truth. No argument can defeat God’s truth.

And even if people try to hurt or kill us, we still have eternal life waiting for us in Christ.

VerseD: John 14:1

“Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.”
John 14:1, ESV

Christ has overcome this world by overcoming death and the grave. We can find peace in Him by believing God has done this. This world is not our home, and one day He will unite us again in eternity!

VerseD: 2 Corinthians 4:16

So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.
2 Corinthians 4:16, ESV

Living for God can be hard, especially with our fallen, sinful world full of death and our own desires.

But the Holy Spirit sustains us and encourages us every day. Lean in and trust God.

The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.
Psalm 34:18, ESV

Life can be hard, disheartening, oppressive, scary, depressing, and all-around cruddy.

God is closest during these times. Take hold of His hand.

“I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”
John 16:33, ESV

Christ proved through His resurrection that nothing can stop Him.

This world may beat us down, but through Christ we shall arise on the New Earth in glory. This hope gives us the courage to face whatever comes our way.
