Know this, my beloved brothers: let every person be quick to hear, slow to speak, slow to anger

Let us be quick to forgive, knowing God has forgiven us, even for things we may not be aware we are guilty of doing. Likewise, others may not be aware of the pain they cause.

We like to know we’re right, but even if we are right there is a right and wrong way to express truth.

We must rely on the Holy Spirit to guide us in all truth, to study the truth of God’s Word, and to share the truth with grace, compassion, gentleness, and respect to the glory of God.

One gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want.

Proverbs 11:24, ESV

God blesses us, and we bless others with those blessings. Most importantly, God gives us the blessing of grace and forgiveness, and if we hold onto for ourselves we stagnate. If we pass on that blessing, we find more than we can fathom.
