The cost of following Jesus is denying ourselves and choosing God over all things. Our biggest concern should be seeking God.

The cost of following Jesus is getting over ourselves, and we should therefore treat others the way Jesus treated us, with sacrificial love, especially within the Church.

Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me.”

The cost of following Jesus is getting over yourself, knowing you need help for salvation and must live the same sacrificial life of love.

God is our source of life and love, giving us the power to control our minds and tongues to help each other in life and worship.

God is the only source of power, authority, and faithfulness, and He is the one who changes us from the inside out into the likeness of His faithful and true Son.

The only true source of power, authority, and faithfulness comes from our Creator and Savior. He empowers us to remain faithful to His authority and glory for the sake of the gospel.

But Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

All power and authority come from our Creator and Savior. In Christ alone are we saved, and only by His power can we be saved. Put your trust in Him.

The only true source of power, authority, and faithfulness comes from our Creator and Savior. Thanks be to God that He also empowers us to remain faithful by His power and authority as we seek Him.

We are called to faithfulness, and praise His name that God helps us. The Holy Spirit indwells delivers and empowers us with Christ’s faithfulness.

We are called to faithfulness, and God tells us to exercise self-control as we grow. Fortunately, He also empowers us with the Word and the Holy Spirit.
