VerseD: Philippians 4:19

And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:19, ESV

Our perceived needs are not necessarily our actual needs, but God knows all our needs. People can see our trust in God’s faithfulness even when it seems we do not have worldly desires, and they will want to know about the peace and faith we have from God.

VerseD: Revelation 4:11

“Worthy are you, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they existed and were created.”

Revelation 4:11, ESV

We exalt and praise God, for He has made all things by His good pleasure. Et us help bring others in to giving honor the Creator of all.

VerseD: 2 Corinthians 7:10

For godly grief produces a repentance that leads to salvation without regret, whereas worldly grief produces death.

2 Corinthians 7:10, ESV

We can know that Christ has cleansed us of all guilt and shame, though we lament our sin for a time.

Let us help those in this world find the same peace and hope, getting through depression and into the joy of the Lord.

VerseD: Micah 6:8

He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?

Micah 6:8, ESV

This world is unkind and unmerciful enough. Let us be like our Lord who show us kindness and mercy first by dying on a cross for us.

There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

Romans 8:1, ESV

We once rebelled against Gid, but in Christ we are no longer guilty.

Let us take the news to the world that they too are in rebellion and facing God’s wrath, but there is hope in Christ.

VerseD: Habakkuk 2:14

For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea.

Habakkuk 2:14, ESV

God has tasked us with taking His glory to the world. They may fight against it and rebel, but one day all on the Earth will give Him glory!

VerseD: Nahum 1:7

The Lord is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; he knows those who take refuge in him.

Nahum 1:7, ESV

Those of this world will always find reasons to hate God. We who have found His salvation can only see His goodness.

VerseD: Matthew 6:25

“Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?”

Matthew 6:25, ESV

Our desires should not be for the things of this world but the goodness and glory of God. When others see us at peace in a crazy world and content with what we have, they will desire that contentment and peace. They will want the God we carry.

VerseD: John 15:2

Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.

John 15:2 ESV

Do people see Jesus in us, or do they see the same thing as what the works looks like?

Does God see the change?

Ask God to make you like Jesus. There are consequences and rewards either way.

VerseD: Matthew 6:19

“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal”

Matthew 6:19, ESV

When the world sees our lack of interest in material needs, they will wonder what intrigues us so much about Jesus.

We can have peace even when we lose everything or the economy is bad or the government is corrupt, and they will see.
