Our world is a mess and scary, but God has given us peace and hope through Christ who has redeemed us and understands us. He holds us firmly in His hands.
“Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal”

Most things in this life are not inherently bad, but our desire for them can definitely be. Let Christ be our treasure, and may we point others to glorify God through Him.
Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs him down, but a good word makes him glad.

Beyond the things of this life, our own sin can cause us worry and fear (anxiety). Thankfully, God sent Jesus to save us from our sin and the Holy Spirit to give us hope for eternal peace.
And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
Galatians 6:9, ESV
Our God did the ultimate good, by sacrificing Christ for us. Now, we have the Holy Spirit within us to empower us to do good works for His glory and help us make eternity that much better.
So faith comes from hearing, and hearing through the word of Christ.

The Word became flesh to point us to forgiveness and restoration with God, and the Holy Spirit empowers us to share this news with others to lead them toward faith in Christ.
