Jesus has put His light in us and called us to live like Him, so let us pray that He helps us overcome ourselves and live His truth so that others may see us and turn to Him.

What do you think? If someone has a hundred sheep, and one of them goes astray, won’t he leave the ninety-nine on the hillside and go and search for the stray?

Life can be crazy, and it doesn’t help when we push each other away. Let us be like our Lord who came after us, and, when we see a fellow believer wandering off, let’s collectively pursue and strengthen them in Christ.

If a house is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.

Life is hard enough without the Church getting into squabbles and frivolous fights. Let us focus on the spiritual war waging around us, and by the authority of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit speak against evil and seek to bring glory to God to all around us.

And he said to them, “Take care, and be on your guard against all covetousness, for one’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.”

Life can be difficult, especially when we focus having what others have. Instead, let’s encourage to remember that we have been given the greatest treasure – Christ – who is coming back for us.

Be on guard, keep awake. For you do not know when the time will come.

Life can be hard, but we encourage each other with the hope that Christ is coming back and can come at any time.

VerseD: 1 Samuel 3:10

And the Lord came and stood, calling as at other times, “Samuel! Samuel!” And Samuel said, “Speak, for your servant hears.”

Sometimes we don’t feel like praying, so we help each other remain faithful in seeking God.

Sometimes – oftentimes – we find God has been calling out to us the whole time. Let us respond in gratitude and obedience.

VerseD: Philippians 4:6-7

Don’t worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

We encourage each other through all areas of life, especially when life gets hard. Therefore, we pray together and lift up our cares to God in prayer to find His wisdom.and even peace.

This is the confidence we have before him: If we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

We encourage each other to grow in Christ, and that can look like keeping each other in line with Christ’s thinking so that our prayers are indeed heard as we ask in His will.

VerseD: James 5:7-8

Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains. You also, be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.

We help each other grow in the Lord, to be patient while we wait for Him, encouraging each other, because we know He is coming soon.

So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.

We are called to share the gospel and help each other grow in the knowledge of Christ, but we know that our salvation and growth comes from God’s work in us.
