VerseD: Hebrews 13:8

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.

Our God is in control, and though He took on flesh He does not change. We can trust that He will always look out or us and guide us truthfully.

If we live by the Spirit, let us also keep in step with the Spirit.

We so often wish to do our own thing, but the Holy Spirit directs us and transforms us to think and act like Christ to the glory of the Father. May we choose to follow.

VerseD: Matthew 9:37-38

Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest.”

We want the world to change, but we often simply wait for it.

The Holy Spirit sends us into the world to make disciples of Christ. Heed the call and change the world.

VerseD: Ephesians 3:20-21

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

We don’t understand what God can and will do in and through us to make us and the world better. Trust the Holy Spirit to draw us to God and bless our world for Christ.

All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, equipped for every good work.

God has revealed His Word to us – both our Old and New Testaments – to help us grow more Christ-like and affect our world for His glory.

VerseD: Ezekiel 36:26

And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.

Our God is the One who changes us, who fills us with His love and grace, who makes us new.

Let us show others the love and grace of our God, the change He has made in us.

Every branch in me that does not bear fruit he takes away, and every branch that does bear fruit he prunes, that it may bear more fruit.

Do people see Jesus in us, or do they see the same thing as what the works looks like?

Does God see the change?

Ask God to make you like Jesus. There are consequences and rewards either way.

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.

When saturated in the culture, it is easier to be like everyone else. Move with the Spirit to be made new in Christ in every moment.

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God.

We regularly study Scripture and rely on the Spirit to guide us in all truth, so that we can help each other grow in Christ, thankful for His help in changing us ever more like the Son.

for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.

When we let God work in us, He draws others to His truth and grace as He conforms us to the Son.
