“In every way I’ve shown you that it is necessary to help the weak by laboring like this and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, because he said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

Acts 20:35, CSB

It is not what we do that makes us righteous before God, but it’s faith in Christ’s death on the cross and His resurrection that brings us righteousness. Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord will be praised.

For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.
Psalm 139:13‭-‬14, ESV

Do not despise your appearance or your inability to do something.

God made you! No one else could, and He has a purpose for you!

Praise Him for who you are in Him, or stay stuck in the bitterness of this world.

VerseD: 1 Samuel 16:7

But the Lord said to Samuel, “Do not look on his appearance or on the height of his stature, because I have rejected him. For the Lord sees not as man sees: man looks on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.”

“Do not judge a book by its cover.”

Only God can judge a person’s heart. You may not know their circumstances or motivations. Therefore, treat all people the same, with God’s love and with wisdom.

“Treat others how you want to be treated.”
