VerseD: Isaiah 9:6

Our God became a baby. He came out of His love for us and His righteousness, showing His power and grace in restoring us to relationship with Himself.

Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.

James 1:12, ESV

God gifts us His strength and faithfulness in Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit, and this gives us hope for eternal life.

VerseD: Psalm 91:2

I will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”

Psalm 91:2, ESV

We need God’s grace and strength to get through this life and attain eternal life, and He is mighty to save.

The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.

We are woefully frail, and realizing that can free us but also push us to the give up.

Thankfully, our mighty God can heal and restore, always infinitely close and ready to lift us when we call.

VerseD: Psalm 139:23-24

Search me, O God, and know my heart! Try me and know my thoughts! And see if there be any grievous way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting!

Psalm 139:23‭-‬24, ESV

Our God knows us, inside and out, and is the One who is mighty to save and lead us in the way everlasting.

VerseD: Matthew 11:28-29

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.

This world is full of concerns, obligations, and worries, but our God is sovereign and mighty.

Trust in Him and His Word.

VerseD: Isaiah 40:28

Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable.
Isaiah 40:28, ESV

The eternal God created all things, and He does not take breaks or nap (resting from creating the cosmos is not the same as ceasing activity altogether). How could we possibly understand His thoughts and understandings?
