VerseD: 1 Corinthians 10:13

No temptation has overtaken you but such as is common to man; and God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will provide the way of escape also, so that you will be able to endure it.
1 Corinthians 10:13, NASB

Temptation will come as long as you live. It is not new nor unexpected. Trust in the Holy Spirit and choose to avoid sin and reject the temptation.

VerseD: Colossians 3:15

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body; and be thankful.
Colossians 3:15, NASB

No matter what is happening in life, Christ is our peace. He dwells in our hearts, and as we meet as the Church He comforts us through each other, as well.

VerseD: Psalm 91:1

He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High

Will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
Psalm 91:1, NASB

Life can be hell. Just as relief from the hot sun can come from standing in the shade, so too can resting in God comfort us from the burning torment in this life and the life to come.

VerseD: Acts 2:21

‘And it shall be that everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.’
Acts 2:21, NASB

There is only one way to eternity with God: believe in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and make Him Lord of your life.

Any other path leads to eternal destruction.

VerseD: Galatians 6:9

And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up.
Galatians 6:9, ESV

We may get rewarded for our good works in this life, but our ultimate reward comes when Christ returns!

VerseD: Hebrews 11:6

And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.
Hebrews 11:6, ESV

Jesus is the only way to God, and it is only by putting your faith in Him that you find that way. Apart from faith in Christ, you are wandering like a blind man and far from God.

Habakkuk 3:17-18

Though the fig tree should not blossom And there be no fruit on the vines, Though the yield of the olive should fail And the fields produce no food, Though the flock should be cut off from the fold And there be no cattle in the stalls, Yet I will exult in the Lord , I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.
Habakkuk 3:17‭-‬18, NASB

Do you trust and worship God?

Not just when things are going, but also when everything is going well? (And vice versa?)

VerseD: 1 Corinthians 13:13

So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is love.
1 Corinthians 13:13, ESV

Hope springs from faith.

Faith springs from love.

Love springs from dedication and choice.

Choose love. Always.

VerseD: Philippians 2:3

Do nothing from selfish ambition or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.
Philippians 2:3, ESV

Do not think of how you will benefit when helping others. Remember, you are serving Christ Himself with each act of kindness, help, and generosity.

VerseD: Psalm 2:11

Worship the Lord with reverence And rejoice with trembling.
Psalm 2:11, NASB

God is so much more powerful than we could ever imagine, and holier than we could ever understand.

Realize how your sin has affected your relationship with Him, and you will tremble before Him. Realize how His grace has saved you, and you will ever remain in awe of Him.
