Our world adores and God expects His people remain strong in difficulties. Show the world God’s glory by holding to His promises, no matter how difficult the circumstances, and see Him face to face.

“Blessed are the merciful, for they shall receive mercy.”

With the difficulties of life, when we show mercy to a hurting world lashing out at each other, they can see the hope of Christ’s mercy through us.

VerseD: Psalm 55:22

Cast your burden on the Lord , and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.
Psalm 55:22, ESV

God does not promise no trouble in life. “Cast your burden” implies problems. Rather, He uses our difficulties and our reliance on Him to shine His light to this hurting world.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord , plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.

God’s promise is not to keep us from harm or painful experiences, rather His promise is to make us ever more like the Son and prepare us for eternity with Him.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

God does allow us to go through pain and problems so that we are able to share the comfort He has given us with others.

Habakkuk 3:17-18

Though the fig tree should not blossom And there be no fruit on the vines, Though the yield of the olive should fail And the fields produce no food, Though the flock should be cut off from the fold And there be no cattle in the stalls, Yet I will exult in the Lord , I will rejoice in the God of my salvation.

Do you trust and worship God?

Not just when things are going, but also when everything is going well? (And vice versa?)

You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.

When life gets hard and uncertain, look for God, how He is moving and acting in every situation. He is there. You will find Him if you search in earnest.
