“Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.”
Isaiah 12:2, ESV
God alone is our salvation and hope, sticking closer than a friend and filling us eith His power and strength.
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Psalm 46:1, ESV
God alone is our hope and greatest help. He is nearer than we realize, always able to help, even if we don’t realize it.
fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

The Light of the world came to us and fills us. He has overcome sin, death, and this world, and by indwelling us shares that power in our lives.
Fear not.
One thing have I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to gaze upon the beauty of the Lord and to inquire in his temple.

The Light of the world has come and revealed Himself to us. If we desire truth and goodness, we will see Him and He will shine through us to this world.
So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.

The Light of the world came to us, and when we believe in Him and His work on the cross He dwells in us to make us more like Him every day.
A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.

The Light of the world came to us and died and rose again to show us we are friends and be ome His brothers and sisters when we believe in Him. He then shines through us to love in the same sacrificial way for others.
“Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.”

The Light of world came to us to establish a new covenant, sacrificing Himself for our salvation and rising again for our hope. Now He dwells in and through us to shine His goodness in this dark and crazy world.
And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
Hebrews 10:24-25, ESV
The Light of the world moves in and through us to the rest of the world. May we then gather as His Church to encourage each other to grow in love and good works, to shine brightly in the hope of eternity and Christ’s return.
I saw a need to discuss reading the Bible this past year. I saw some who couldn’t find books within the Bible, so I had to remind them that there is a table of contents. Some people saw headings as Scripture, and many didn’t know what notations were.
I also showed how to discover cross-references and commentaries. Let us help each other find God in His Word!
