Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.

All people are called to be priests of God for the families, neighbors, friends, and communities. We need to know what His Word says and how to apply it for His glory and to reach others.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Proverbs 1:7, ESV
God showed His love through Jesus, and if we deny His love and redemptive work then we are still under His wrath. Only a food rejects Christ.
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
John 1:14, ESV
Just the name of God is enough to save us, and at His word we are saved. Trust in the Word made flesh, this Jesus who came to save us, giving thanks for His grace and truth.
For you formed my inward parts; you knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; my soul knows it very well.
Psalm 139:13-14, ESV
We are saved in Christ alone, and as God He knows us beyond intimately, better than we know ourselves. He is our Creator and Savior and worthy of all love and praise.
Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of God, God abides in him, and he in God.
1 John 4:15, ESV
We are saved in Christ alone, and we must confess this truth to be saved. We will also live in such a way as to show we belong to Him.

We are saved in Christ alone, and that is true for those who are violent against Christ. Thus, we share the gospel of Christ with all people, including those who persecute Christians.

We are called to wisdom, and God has told us how to get wisdom. We are to seek God through orayer and His Word, wait on His timing and wisdom, and be patient and bold in His faithfulness.
Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray. Is anyone cheerful? Let him sing praise.
James 5:13, ESV
God has called us to wisdom, and He equips the Church to share wisdom. Wisdom calls for us to care for each other, helping and praying for each other and rejoicing in Christ together.
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.”
Matthew 5:4, ESV
We are called to wisdom, and wisdom shows us our sinfulness and need for God. May we mourn our sin and seek the Savior from God’s wrath and Comforter of our souls and hearts.
We ask you, brothers, to respect those who labor among you and are over you in the Lord and admonish you, and to esteem them very highly in love because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves.
1 Thessalonians 5:12-13, ESV
We were called by God to wisdom, and He equips His Church to help each other grow. Elders and leaders in the Church should be specially equipped to help and thus respected and encouraged, as well.
We help each other to seek Christ.
