Christ came as our example and to renew us. It is not just communion that we take in reverence, but we thank God for every bite, every sip, every action, and every breath we have His grace of taking.

and he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.

Christ was sent to renew our hearts and bring us grace and forgiveness, and we know He loves us but will also bring this world to an end. May the Spirit guide us in bringing others to this grace.

Christ came to us, sent by the Father to teach and redeem us, and by the Holy Spirit we can overcome sin and temptation to live for Him.

God has sent His Word – Scripture and His Son – so that by the Holy Spirit we may be renewed in heart, soul, and mind. He gives it to us when we believe in Him.

We get through this life and even thrive because we have God’s Word, God’s people, and God’s Spirit guiding, encouraging, and empowering us. May we pray in the Spirit for each other and all of our needs.

Since Christ is risen and ascended, we can know that our faith in His faithfulness can help us against attacks from evil. He has overcome!

Knowing Christ is alive, we live in His truth, clothed in His righteousness, having the hope of eternity with Him that we can share with others.

Because Christ lives, when we believe in Him we have access to the Holy Spirit who empowers us by His Word to stand up to temptations, persecutions, and all manner of evil.

For our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavens.

Because Christ lives, we can face the powers of darkness and evil with boldness, knowing our Savior reigns and fights for us.
